My path to becoming a coach began at an early age. Friends and classmates often shared their innermost worries and dreams with me, knowing they could entrust their secrets with me without judging them.

What lights me up about this work is knowing that my clients’ lives are transformed both personally and professionally by helping them live intentionally and consciously with far more CHOICE than they’ve ever experienced before. 

What sets me apart from other service providers is that I’ve been there myself, including many years of experience in management, consulting, coaching, and as an entrepreneur. Throughout what many would consider a successful career and life, I’ve faced and overcome self-doubts, fears, a very loud and persistent inner critic, brain cancer, surgery and chemotherapy, lifestyle changes and a set of transformative coaching experiences.

You can feel confident engaging me to guide you to solve a variety of leadership, career and personal problems. My lifelong fascination with understanding why we humans do the things we do, led to a degree in psychology from the University of Chicago, coach training and certification through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC), 20 years in human resource management roles in various corporate and non-profit organizations, and nearly 20 years of consulting, leadership assessments and coaching experience.

ASSESSMENTS:

In addition to the ELI assessment, I am certified in the Hogan Insights & Leadership Forecast series and the Devine Inventory system.

  • Hogan -- A personality-based set of assessments. I have conducted hundreds of debriefs using these assessments, which include Motives Values and Preferences Inventory; Personality Inventory; and the Challenges or Development Survey (derailers under stress). 
  • Devine Inventory -- A behavioral assessment system that is also personality based. I have conducted close to a thousand assessments and debriefs for development, 360 feedback and team assessments. I have also customized a number of the assessments to reflect client leadership competency models so the language is aligned and familiar, and readily used for talent reviews and succession planning.
